Matthew Licina is the Business Support program manager at Colorado’s Office of Economic Development and International Trade (OEDIT). At OEDIT, Matt advances Colorado's employee ownership programs and funding opportunities through the Employee Ownership Office, housed within the Business Support Division.
Prior to OEDIT, Matt came from Cleveland, Ohio where he worked with Evergreen Cooperatives to manage their urban hydroponic greenhouse, and to develop and launch their company-wide Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion program. He also previously managed a social enterprise bakery that was exploring a co-op conversion, worked as a chef and farmer in the Napa Valley, and conducted research on cooperatives and community economic development at the University of California, Davis.
Matt holds a B.S. in Sustainable Agriculture and Food Systems from UC Davis, with an emphasis in Community Economic Development and Governance.
